How to Play
Hand of 4: each player plays one card per round. The first card sets the King’s preferred suit.
Coins are used to swap the reserved card or to claim it. Players start with only a few coins but can earn more during the game.Treachery cards beat all suits—but Royal Guards can nullify them. The reserved card can be swapped in at any time by paying 1 coin.
It can be swapped multiple times, or claimed at the end of the game by paying its cost.Noble Quests are shared missions that reward all players who fulfill them at game end.
Scoring Points are calculated at the end using all accumulated cards, mission points and coins.

Do we have a story to tell?
Simple moves. Deep timing. Delicious reversals. While The King’s Favour is a fictional and humorous card game, it draws loose inspiration from the turbulent courts of late medieval and early modern Europe.
The game is vaguely inspired by the eccentricity and political chaos surrounding the reign of Charles I, though no names or historical events are directly depicted.
All character illustrations—whether noble, traitorous, or comically misguided are inspired by real and fictional figures from the 15th to 17th centuries, capturing the fashion, drama, and absurdities of royal courts.
The tone is satirical, but the references are rooted in an era where favour could shift as quickly as fortune… and sometimes all it took was a well-timed gift.

The Noble Art of Bluff
Simple enough for families, rich enough for gamers. The game leaverage on solid mechanics of Briscola and the addiction with the coins and noble quests add more fun to the plate.
Every match is different and the possible combination are infinite.
In all the matches played the mood is having fun with no stress. There is enough agency to manage the game and enough to change a match that looks impossible to win.Every card you hold might be:
☛ A brilliant play
☛ A bluff
☛ Or a coin for laterThe Noble missions forge every match differently and are designed to be simple and effective. Every element of the game became more important because of the missions.
